I think a post you wanted to add to this thread somehow landed on the “fish or cut bait” thread.

I’m willing to bet that these items are not owned under one entity, meaning multiple policyholders. If you were to combine all coverages under one policy umbrella, and accidentally make less than one full premium payment in a given month, would you be endangering coverage on all assets protected under the combined policy?

Yes but there is a grace period usually. In over 40 years I have never failed to pay my premium.

We just set up automatic premium withdawls with our banks. For almost everything. It only takes a few minutes to examine the banking account statements each month. Watching for irregular things.

All card balances are also automatically cleared off on our credit cards as well each month. Credit cards of course give you some benefits over debit cards. Plus their insurance protection is pretty good.'

At our ages as a couple and keeping a very small mandatory balance in place on the accounts. We also pay no banking fees at all. We even deal with utility bills in this fashion.

Entertaining new insurance providers you want to read the new policies before buying into them. Insurance premiums are all over the place in costs these days. This is not particularily because they are more competative. Coverages instead vary today all over the place.

To me in many ways it is just a different world today.
