Record holder in solving three Rubik cubes while juggling them

Whiny beetches of the world: instead of complaining that life didn’t endow you with what you really needed, consider the possibility that you have not begun to tap in to your potential talent. You have an awesome engine between your ears. But you need to jumpstart it, it’s on you.

This gentleman cannot only solve a Rubik’s cube. He can do three of them while juggling them. I am also a juggler, not the greatest juggler ever, relatively far down on the scale actually, but I enjoy it, and it is very good for developing peripheral vision. That has been proven scientifically in fact.

So, I will shut up and leave you to ponder this gentleman’s abilities. I watched the first 2/3 of it with the sound off, I turned the sound on, and then turned it back off again. YMMV.

Damn. That is some serious ability. Looks like he solving one at a time. The fact that he can extract such detail out of a moving objet while still concentrating enough to keep juggling all three is very impressive. I'm happy getting out of bed and putting pants on with out falling over.

It’s hard enough to juggle three objects for that long without dropping one. I can do a number of tricks, but I would tend to drop them too soon, to be considered top-flight. At one point I could juggle three balls in one hand, I had to work up to it, I would do three balls in a circle and then switch to one hand. But I could only do it for 30 seconds to a minute.

Once when I went to the Oregon country fair, it’s west of Eugene about 20 miles. It’s a pretty incredible event. The line for tickets was so long, I went out where a bunch of people were hanging out, maybe waiting for the line to get smaller I don’t know. I started juggling, attract a pretty good audience, after I got warmed up, I worked up to my three balls in one hand thing and did it for longer than usual. A few guys were really impressed, it felt kind of cool. Then a lady connected to the Fair came up and gave me a free pass. Woo-Hoo!

There are some incredibly hot jugglers in the world. This guy here, Jason Garfield, is thought by many to be one of the very best, I would give it a WAG of top 5. There’s not a lot of money in being a juggler that I can see, he does cruise ship shows I understand. There’s vid of one on the web somewhere.

This video here is called the Chris Bliss Diss. Bliss was recorded doing a show in Vegas I think, he wasn’t even the headliner, but his three ball juggling routine became a huge sensation, like 120,000,000 views.

Garfield saw that and wanted to prove he was the better juggler, and his skill set is much broader, so he used the same soundtrack from Bliss’s video, even including the audience reaction. Unfortunately, his skill in juggling is sort of mass by his swollen ego. I’ve seen several interviews with him. They eventually had to pull the video from the web because he had copied the other guy’s soundtrack.

A couple of bootleg versions have come out, this is one, they are all darker than the original, which is unfortunate, but you can still see what he’s doing. He can also do seven balls and nine rings. There’s a video of him doing five balls in each hand for about 20 seconds. You don’t see any of that here, this is all a five ball routine, which is pretty cool by itself. He does five balls in one hand at one point.
