It is not really a battery, but more of a power supply, producing power by conversion. So you could in theory use these to pump up other storage devices like capacitors and rechargeable batteries and have the boost you need on occasion and still always have at least the min output available. Stack a thousand of those 1W units and have a Kilowatt . But the $
