I come across stories like this from time to time, and it always makes me wonder what sort of charger this would mate with. If a battery car carries an 80Kwh battery, it will take at least 80Kwhr to charge from zero (I understand that it would more likely be recharged at 20%, but still) delivering 80Kwh in less than a minute would require what? Maybe 20KV? So you dedicate an entire high tension line to the charger? Meanwhile, dumping that much power into a battery would generate a lot of heat, so the implication is that the internal resistance of the battery is near zero?

Imagine how many vehicles could be charged in a day. Busy interstate between big cities ... no waiting! Faster than gas.

Might need more lines. The bigger the feed the cheaper the $/KW. Have ever compared industrial rates with home rates?

Need to find the sweet spot between all the variables, but this might allow consideration along the lines of faster than previously available.
