Driver Tip
 

Hi, my parents are taking a trip of a lifetime overseas. They will have a private car and driver(Mercedes e280)* for $300/day(15 hours a day). They will have the car and driver for about a week and would like to know how much they should tip the driver if they are satisfied.
They want to know if they should tip the driver at the end of every day or at the end of the trip .


*think its a new e280. I dont think they are available here

Hi James,10% would be a lot but a 5%-7% tip would seem in line don't you think,as long as the service was better than average.People in the service industry generally don't make a lot of money so any tip is usually appreciated,though surly waiters can stuff there tip:eek: .
