Just curious,

What message does your license plate frame say?

Polished Stainless steel frame from the dealer saying "Mercedes Benz"

That one's on my Bug...got lots of attention at car shows with that...:D

SL and 300E have the chrome frame with "MercedesBenz" on the bottom of the frame...chrome one on the 300E, gold on on the SL.

ML has a chrome frame with ML320 decaled on the bottom.

No front plates on any of the MB cars...all have logo license plates (each different)...:)

G-Benz, Thats funny...I like that..... my 72 beetle I had when I was 16 said "built tougher than your momma's meat balls" I got a lot of funny looks from that.

Sadie has a San diego Mercedes Benz frame. compliments of the nice guys there.

No front plate huh? I would agree it looks nicer without one but I don't like being pulled over. Watch out for our texas state troopers.

They haven't bothered me yet (knock on zebrano)...been sporting logo plates in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas & Texas...that's a twelve-year span with no incident.

Cops in Texas generally leave you alone unless you're spotted committing a more serious violation . When they do pull you over, they are conducting business from the rear and driver's side of your vehicle anyway.

Been in Texas for five years now. The troopers are more likely to pull you over for expired stickers than for logo plates.

But I do keep the fronts under the seat of each car just in case... ;)

But now it says Carlsson.

The front one still says Beverly Hills Ltd. Mercedes Benz Though

My 300D has a University of Virginia frame on the front license plate, from the previous owner (it was originally on the rear LP). The oen on the rear is for a shop in San Jose called Coast Fuel Injection. It was just one I had laying around.

I want to get one that says "You're just jealous 'cause the voices talk to me" to replace the one on the rear of the Benz, and maybe get one that says something like "My other car is a truck" for the front.

For my F-250, I have the original dealer frame on the back (Jim Burke Ford, Bakersfield) and a CFI plate on the front. I hope to eventually replace that with "My other diesel is a Benz" :cool:
