Garage floor coatings

I'll be moving into my brand new house in about 6-8 weeks. I would like to coat my garage floor with a paint(?) to protect against fluid spills (oil, brake fluid, coolant, etc) and make them easy to clean up. Any suggestions or recomendations? I am planning on going to hardware stores and paint stores to ask for suggestions as well.

Thanks,

Don't buy the stuff at HomeDepot / Lowes because it's junk. You need to spend the dough and get the stuff from Groits Garage or something similar. It's called "Industrial Non-Lifting Flour Paint".

I would not coat...

...a cement floor at all.

A cement floor is pretty good on providing a stable clima which will help to prevent the car from rusting.

If you close the porous floor the moisture from a wet vehicle will not be absorbed.

A perfect place is a garage with a cement floor, lots of air movement and a stable, rather cool temperature.

A heated garage with closed windows and coating on the cement will kill your car within just a few winters.

A garage floor is a workplace. I'm not going to eat from it. Usually

Kind regards
Eberhard
