Me thinks you're right. The V-10 engines are bloody long, not ot mention how would you get a RWD drivetrain into a ricer? The doghouse into the cabin would be sufficient that I have no idea where he would put a gearshift lever without a complicated set of linkages.

Besides, I thought ricerockets were required to keep the stock engine in and increase horsepower and torque through strategically placed stickers?

Even if this IS for real (doesn't look photoshopped though), imagine underhood temps with that monster, especially with the anemic stock radiator...

...would overheat before it even warmed up!

I think it is photoshopped. That V10 looks awfully short....

But who knows, it may be possible, though you may end up with an 80/20 weight ratio...

I'm pretty sure it's fake too....but a good job
If you stare at the upper strut tie-bar for a while and glance back and fore between it and the engine, things just don't seem to be in the same plane. That's what I see in any case.

Also, the driver would have to sit in the back seat to drive it because of the engine protruding into the cabin because it's so long.

Did you notice the clean lines on the longer horizontal and vertical lines? Then look at the strut bar where it crosses over the engine. I think the guy has a future at the national enquirer.

I downloaded the pic and zoomed it to see if I could find the seams, and if it's altered, it's damn good! The strut bar is the only thing that looks suspect.

The one peculiarity is that the engine doesn't seem to scale...it's a HUGE motor, but it looks compact in the engine bay. Also, where is that air intake going?

We'll see if that car really does make the mags...then we'll know for sure.

Reminds me of letters in a car audio mag several years back where folks were disclaiming someone who touted a friend that managed to get 18 12" subs in the rear area of an early Sentra. Everyone wrote how impossible that was to do, until the owner got fed up and sent pics. It was a complicated setup, but yeah, he got all 18 of them in!!!
