Question Online salvage that you may know of?

My friend had her car stolen, when she got it back she was missing the two front bucket seats. She called me asking to help repair other things and help her find some seats. I have a pick n pull that I'm going to check out, and I have searched around online too, submitting parts inquires. I was wondering if any of you guys here recommend a used parts/salvage online that you may use? Thanks.

Pete's Auto Salvage

This is a local West Michigan place, but is online and is nationally linked so that they can find parts in your area as well.
GREAT people to do business with, and they also offer warranties at a very minimal charge...

You should try to get a look at the parts youare buying first. Salvage yards are great at saying ridiculous things like 'These are in a perfect condition'... when you get them they're rarely better than average condition

Incidentally, does a 190E-2.6 go as well as a C280? Does it go well at all?

later

Thanks everyone for your input. She's a single mom with two kids so she's trying to get some money together while I look. This may be better, so I can find a better deal for her. This is the second time she's had her car stolen. The guys slashed all four tires too when they left it (she laughed at that one, because she needed new tires anyway). She hasn't let it get to her though, she's a great girl.

Russ I like the way my c280 handles a bit better, but the 190e 2.6 gave me less problems. I've had my c280 for maybe six months and I regret selling the 190e. I should have held that, and bought a diesel instead. Keep your 190e. I'll hold the car a bit longer, if it keeps giving me trouble I'm getting something else.

Sincerely,

Jason
