A Mercedes Pic
I was going through an old photo album and found this pic. It seems to be a Euro 123. Can't tell if its diesel or not, but I would guess so. I am the small boy in the picture with my mother behind me. I believe this picture was taken in Jordan back in the 80's. For some reason... I feel as if I want to get that benz. Just love the lamps and color on that car

Nice picture of your family. If I remember correctly, your father is Egyptian and your mother is Polish. Are they both immigrants to the U.S. from Jordan, or were you on vacation at the time?
Are you still in Europe or have you returned to the U.S.?

Hello.. Yes, I arrived back home 3 days ago. Spent two and a half months in Poland. I don't remember who the people in the picture are, and no they are not family members. Possibly friends or something of my father. I was in Jordan on vacation at that time.

Did you pick up any parts in Poland for your W126?
You were looking for Euro headlights, weren't you?

Is it Diamond Blue metallic on that Euro W123?
It's a nice looking car with the proper bumpers and headlights.

Only that your...
...headlights for the british market are for right-hand drive cars.
The car on the picture is very likely four cylinder (or the 250 with M 123) gasoline car. A diesel would have (at least in most of the cases, but there are exemptions) the radio antenna on the right front bumper, a car with the M 110 would have the around the corner chrome bumper. Kind regards Eberhard |
