Need help with a task...

Ok... I mentioned this a while back that I was looking for a chrome strip that goes over the top of the front bumper on a w126. The one that I have has several large rust holes and make the car look bad. I finally found a seller that is willing to sell the piece off a 1985 500sel for a price of $75 including shipping(Is that a reasonable price for this piece?).

Anyways, I am sending the payment out today and will hopefully get the piece by the end of this week or early next week.

Now for the part where I will need help from. This will be my first job on the car that I will do by myself. I am looking forward to it:D . What I want to know is how do I take the front bumper off. Where do I unscrew any screws that hold it. I know that there are 5 pieces that make up the chrome lining on the bumper, and each piece is held down with a nut and screw. Is there a way where I can go under the bumper and unscrew the piece there or do I have to take the entire assembly off and work from there?

I would appreciate any detailed instructions on completing this task. sorry for the long post... and thanks for any replies I get!:D

I went over to the car to see where I can unscrew the piece but was stumped. My guess is that you could lift the hood and that will expose some room where you can place your hand underneath the piece. I did that and could feel several rust screws. My question is... if I were to unscrew these screws, would the chrome piece pop out and will be an easy replacement? Or will it be a more complicated procedure?
