5-20W oil in 2002 Mazda B3000 V6

Ususally I change my own oil and use Mobil 1 5W-30 oil, but today I went to Mazda dealer to get oil changed and they use Mazda 5W-20, which the maintenance book recommends.. I have never used anything but 5W-30 or 10W30 in my gas engines, so what gives, why the change??
