My turn to post some pics

A few weekends ago, we hit the chain of lakes and strung together a few lakes. I saw a Kingfisher circle for about 30 seconds and dive into the lake to catch its prey. There's nothing like coming up silent to within 30 feet of a flock of Pelicans. I wish I had a digital camcorder. Anyway... starting at basecamp.

Great pix! I'm surprised you could even find your hed in a swamp like that!

Do you use skin so soft by the gallon to avoid being consumed?

Actually, it really does look like a awful lot of fun!!!!!

Looks like cat-tail to me.. you can see some of it clearly in the picture.
