ALL MB's are RWD, right?

Hello friends:

I'm pretty sure about this, but am wrong all the time, so thought I would seek some good advice.

All Mercedes-Benz vehicles are rear wheel drive, correct?
I am not counting the ML series as they have a special
drive train that provides all or 4 wheel drive, right?

I'm just curious -- when MB imports cars to the US, how
come they don't offer any front wheel drive versions?
I realize that almost all US luxury cars (even domestic
US cars) are rear wheel drive, but have always wondered
why that is. Is it because of ride or something?

As always, am grateful to you all for your comments
and feedback.

Peace!
Michael.
