That was foolish.

That looks like the nice 420SEL that it showed on one of those CFC videos of the dealer blowing up the engine on.

It wasnt the same though obviously.

Always the 420SEL that gets destroyed! It was the single most destroyed MB in the clunker program, and here's another! Who knows what was wrong with that car though, it might have "looked" ok but had a can of worms under the hood. Generally TV shows don't trash a perfect car.....

ya, they do. Ive hand written letters to directors asking that very question. only got one denial. the one they destroyed was a fiberglass mock-up.

C for C- another stupid idea. What was the most clunker? Ford F150. What did those clunker traders buy? Another Ford F150 that got - on average about four MPG better. My tax dollars given to truck buyers to get 4 more MPG- WTF?
