We met tonight at a neighborhood restaurant for drinks. Nice girl, attractive, smart.... but I didn't feel much chemistry. She's also about ten years younger (which I don't have any problem with), but understandably at a different place in life than I. Oh well... maybe next time.

BTW, (to bring the Benz aspect into this) we parked in the same garage nearby. Many open spaces, but I chose to park several levels up... didn't want my nice ride to be a factor.

I received some pretty good advice from the Forum in an earlier thread which helped.

Funny story: the girl I met tonight, Shannon, had been on one blind date a couple years ago. In the middle of the dinner conversation the guy blurted out her bra size to her!! Talk about rude. He then told her that he made a lot more money than she, let her pay half the dinner bill, and made sure that all the change from it was given to her while saying, "I'm sure you need the change more than I." After walking her to her car he asks, "So, am I gonna get a goodnight kiss, or what?" Real winner.

Apparently he had a bit too much to drink, fell asleep behind the wheel on the way home, and hit someone's car. No one was hurt, so maybe it served the jerk right.

Shannon said she still laughs about it with her office mate that set it up.
