Question What music do you have in your car right now?

I was looking through my case of CDs in the car this afternoon and the contents kind of reminded me of something.....
Among others were
  • Vent
  • Treblecharger
  • Tool
  • Big Wreck
  • Fuel
  • Filter
  • The Cars

No, we don't have an in-dash CD player in either car! Those are tapes, as I haven't finished the 'stereo in the E' project. When we want CD's, we use the player with a tape adapter. Eventually the E will have an MP3 player, and I will burn all my tapes onto MP-3 files and have only 1 or 2 disks, but right now finances don't allow any progress on that project. We probably aren't going to change the tape player on the C - it sounds great with the upgraded door speakers. So a big bag of tapes sits in the E, while the entire center consol on the C is filled with tapes.

In my car:

Coldplay's newest album.

An '80s hair-metal mix CD, with Van Halen, GNR, Bon Jovi, others

Van Halen's "1984". Panama seems only appropriate in something like an '83 911 Targa, red, with Cali plates. And the engine sounds in the final minute of the song could only come from a Porsche flat-6.

Wilco, "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot"

Cream, "Strange Brew: The Very Best of Cream".
