Question 1999-2002 Corolla?

Hi,

Does anybody here own either the 1999-2000 Corolla.. or the 2001-2002 Corolla?

If you do would you share your experience with them?

I have a lot of faith in Toyota especially when it comes to reliability - at least when they are new.

I love the 300CD but i've done so much work on it that I kinda feel bad to use it everyday and expose it salt, etc. in winter. Right now I'm thinking that maybe a second hand Corolla would be great! My other option would be to sell the 300CD and get a newer car (500E ) and have yet another 'garage queen'.

I know i know.. completely opposite choices (500E - Corolla) but I have to factor in the costs of insuring two cars, maintenance, parking (expensive), etc.

I'd love to have a basic model 2001-2002 with Manual transmission. I don't even need power windows I think I can live with manual crank windows.

The 1999-2000 MY Corollas don't look as good as the '01-'02 but they are still better looking than the 2003's

Thanks!
