New shoes for my '94 E500

I finally bought some new wheels for my '94 E500. I wanted something simple, easy to clean, and reasonably light. I think I found what I wanted in O.Z. Classe, 18 x 8 front and 18 x 9 rear with 245/40 and 275/35, respectively. I didn't want to spend $1000 per wheel for ultra-light forged wheels...the O.Z's are 21 lbs. front and 22 lbs. rear, not too heavy. The lips are polished stainless steel and are user replacable!

Thanks! I'm very pleased with my choice...the silver painted centers match the Brilliant Silver almost perfectly and the polished stainless lips match the stock brightwork on the car.

Yes! I was just about to post that.

Nice job. The OZ looks great on the car but the gap in the back is too large. Just be cautious with the self-leveling suspension on the 500.

Thanks! I think an inch lower in back would be about perfect.

WOW!

Your car looks great with those wheels, I can't wait to see them in person.

I'm also considering lowering my car a bit and am wondering how to do it. Would love to be there to watch and help when you do this so that I can work on mine. Are you planning on lowering the car yourself or will you have your mechanic take care of it?

Nice Car

I think the 500E was just about one of the best Mercedes ever made. It is a rock and looks like a million bucks.

Here is some advise for you KEEP IT
You will never find such a nice car again.

Here in Canada it was one of the most exclusive MB's available.

Jealous

Hey Extreme,

How much have you spent so far?
What a machine, and what a great color (we say colour).

Only thing, where the hell is the star?
Don't you think you should have the star and also the 500E logo.
This is a very special car and people should know what it is.

Come to think of it, what the heck is it?
One can definitely start a lot of conversations about this Extreme specimen of an automobile.

Good job, I bet the aftermarket guys love you

lol. I've spent more than I can afford to The star was shaved off with most other things I didn't really car abt the rear "logo" cause no one knew what the hell it was anyway and the people that did, just got more confuesed as they looked at it deaper. I don't think I have too much aftermarket stuff, but, yeah you could say so I personly didn't want any MBZ logos on the car...I want to be a auto designer, so I'll come up with my own logo soon but till then, go figure

Greetings,
Mr. Banana
