I just recorded these videos using, believe it or not, my mobile phone!
It's a Nokia 7650, the one with a little camera in the back - as well as taking pics you can install a neat program that records short videos (no sound).

So, while driving tonight (quite late, which partly excuses the driving ) I took some videos. It's hard to see the speedo, so use the needle position and attached speedo pic as a guide .

You'll need Quicktime to play them, although the latest media player may work. They are highly compressed because the phone compresses so much .

Video 1 Similar to the 0 - 150 video of a 500E I posted, but 0-90mph in a 190E 2.0. 122bhp works suprisingly effectively in a 190E - timing this video gives 0-60 in 9.8-9.9 seconds. I wasn't holding it on the brake to start, and didnt really redline.


Video 2 Driving the lanes. Headlights are far far better than they look. Yes, we drive on the left in England :p . Almost conveys the great handling of the 190E

Video 3 Cruising on the motorway.. it reads 105mph, but there's plenty of go left.

Video 4 Short bit of lit up motorway. I appear to be going pretty fast.. don't remember how quick though.


I'll keep taking more as long as I have my phone with me and am driving on empty roads

BTW if you wonder what the photos come out like, here's one of my Dad's independant garage. They're 640x480.
