It's only a few days away anyone coming to the Turkey Rod Run car show?

Benzman - I was going to get down there but plans have changed and I will not make it this year. I have alot of friends coming down, most of them are leaving today.
Try again next year.

wasnt all that good this year at least not to me. Did you get stuck in the traffic? I drove up to ST. Augstine tonight and ended up taking back roads because I 95 was at a dead stop.

I was there Wed - Mon.... Great show and night events going on. It was nice seeing a couple of MB's..... I saw a silver E55, silver CLK430, a black E430...... Think that was it....

Although I didn't take a hot rod, it was nice cruising around in my '00 E320 ......

Where any of you at La Playa any of the nights?

I was down at LaPlaya on Friday night for a little while. Spent most of the time out on the street in front of Wendys on A1A. You did not happen to see the beige 1985 300TD did you - that was us.

Didn't see your car...trust me, I was spotting every Benz and Porsche I could see

It was a nice 5 hour ride for me from south FL; cruised at 80-100 all the way , with an occasional sprint up to 110-130...

whats LaPlaya?
I went out crsuing on thursday night till about 1 and went home. Even got to race a old z28 and a new z06.

La Playa is a big hotel at about 4-5 miles north off the speedway road on a1a... Has been the hot spot for years (used to be where all the events and clubs originated from), plus they have a HUGE parking lot (Publix, etc.) accross the street, so that gets packed with cars ...

Well, since a few of you went, then make plans for the Spring Turkey Run in March. It is about 1/2 the size as this last weekend but still lots of cars and vendors!!

A Z06 and a Z huh?...Funny, I don't even look at those cars now that I drive my E class .

ok we call that Bel Air because the big thing is the shopping center across the steet. That hotel was a Ramada a while back and I never paied any attention.
Ya I look at any car that looks good just because it makes me happy
