Michael Lewis, The New New Thing (A Silicon Valley Story)
Which is actually an old old thing right now (so 1999), but I just caught up with it. About Jim Clark, who created Silicon Graphics, then Netscape. I'll read anything Lewis writes - Liar's Poker: Rising Through the Wreckage on Wall Street, was a hoot; Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game and The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game were also terrific. |
I love M Lewis's books. I read Liar's Poker and The New New Thing both.

I happen to know someone whose father flew with Lindberg on occassion. I love to read about people who have achieved great things in life. I encourage my kids to do that, too. Wish I'd started earlier. |

I recently read Confessions of an Economic Hit Man. It is an easy read with a good mix of entertainment and information. Puts a perspective on US world situation that is not often talked about.

Confessions of an economic hitman was pretty good. A Game as old as Empire follows up on that with other people's stories and author of confessions also has another book out now too.
