really nice looking! Is that one of the Pioneer stereos in the interior shot? It looks pretty nice - goes with the car better than most stereo upgrades.

it is a Pioneer DEH-P7400MP mp3 player and the chrome finish on it goes great with the interior as well as excellent sound with Bose dash speakers and Pioneer 6x9's in the rear.

I agree! Nice interior as well!
I have the palomino interior in the 300E, and I'll bet you have just as much fun trying to keep yours clean!  Do you get hassled about the car at school?

no hassles! lol but comments that "im obsessed" with it when I mention it sometimes but its funny that those that talk about civics and all those rice cars "are not obsessed"

Wood looks GREAT!
 You have done a very nice job. Did the '83 380SEL come with Zebrano originally? Are you getting good bass out the 6X9's?

Dang...nice burlwood. The 380SE makes do with the Zebrano wood, but grey leather is easy to take care of.
Your stereo looks scarily like the Clarion in our 380SE. -Sam

ya bass is decent but could be better, but I am just picky. Wish I had a w140 system in there...no need for modifications! The car is pure stock including the wood because this previous owner from West Palm Beach FL wasnt a cheap a** and got the burl walnut in the car straight from Mercedes which is a rare and exspensive wood the dealer told me. Only things that were done to the car were tints, stereo modifications and rims. The rims in the pics are my winter tire rims but my summer tires are mounted on 15 hole rims that I got from a smashed 1991 560 SEL.
