Chevy Cavalier Stall Problem

I am having a problem with a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier (2.2L Engine). The engine has a stall problem once it warms up. After about 10 minutes of normal running, as the car approaches a stop the car just quits without sputtering/chugging like a normal stall. After the stall, all electrical systems still work and the engine can be restarted without any trouble. After restarting the engine, if it is placed into Drive, the engine will usually stall again. I have found that after starting if the engine is in Park or Neutral, it will continue running, however if it is placed in gear it will probably stall. The only way I have found to get the car moving again is to give it a little gas while in Neutral and drop it into Drive. Once the car is moving again it will continue on until the next stop. Any suggestions as to what might be causing the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Air Mass Sensor (or Air flow meter, depending on who manufactures it)...

...that's the cylinder residing between the airbox and the intake.

Well, it's a Cavalier.

You probably aren't considering this, but for the price you could resell this car for, you could probably get into a 300D turbodiesel (81-85).

But seriously, I had an 86 Cavalier Z-24 that did just that...would stall out, and I couldn't keep an idle without keeping my foot on the pedal.

Air mass sensor...;)
