A man of few words.. well actually ..few numbers!

Had to skip work today to play golf. As I was loading my stuff after the match, I noticed that an older gentleman, 65 or so, was loading his stuff into the trunk of an immaculate 300sd. This thing looked brand new!!! I said "That's a really good looking SD you have there"! His reply..... "1985"
That's all he needed to say!!!

Hey Capn,
That Dawg in your avatar looks like a hound dog, is it?

Golf:
I have never taken a formal lesson (just corrections from well meaning co-players and total strangers).
I always plan to sign up for lessons, specifically when I am about ready to jump into the water hazard and put myself outa missery or just jump in the sand pit and throw a tantrum!!

Hey Capn next time you see the ole gent give him our number so if he ever wants to 86 his 85 we can take it outa his garage.

Thats funny, A few weeks ago I saw an older ladie with a silver 90 or 91 W124, I pulled in next to her at the little market on the beach. I said to her "pretty car" shes replys " well thanks what year is yours?" I proceed to tell her its a 1990 and she says in reply "oh wow mines a 1981." I just smile and said mmmmm hhmmm.

Some older people get confused about what decade things took place in. My 81 year old Dad was telling me that my cousin was restoring a '55' Mustang!!:p I said "I'll bet that's a rare car"!!
