Of course, like all the other gas stations, they're still trying to sneak that extra .9 arm and leg into the cost without us noticing!

Ouch...my condolences.

It could be worse, though; two years ago I had a girlfriend who lived in Bakersfield (about 250 miles from me), and, driving a Ford van that got 13 mpg on diesel #2, I was burning easily over $200 in fuel per month...possibly even up to $300 (it was at least $120 per trip {putting 40 gallons in the van twice} plus a 50 mile commute to work)...

Fortunately, she decided to move in with me

Great picture! -And great humor :-)

It should have been taken here in Denmark though. A gallon of octane 95 is US$4.40
My monthly gas bill is around $740. -Just going to work and back..

But then again.. Almost all the girls are topless on our beaches in the summer. So it's not THAT bad living here.. :-)

And topless.... in cold weather...
Sorry. I may have stepped over the line there.
$4.40/a gallon! Wow!
But I have thought about how much everything else has gone up in the last 20 years, and if you compare gas prices to that, it hasn't kept pace with the inflation. So I just grit my teeth and pay $1.50 for diesel.

You know what the maintenance cost of one of those topless gals is these days???

Keep in mind that "summer" probably only last three weeks .

You bet!
Denmark has got the finest beaches of Northern Europe. Every summer we are flooded with turists from all the countries around us who want's a piece of the action -so to speak.

Summer in Denmark only lasts from june to late august and the temperature is usually from 25-35 deg. celsius. And 15-20 at night -just to 'point' that out.

Well worth the extra bucks for a gallon of gas..
