What are the odds?

This afternoon, on the way home from the Car Wash, I come to a 4 way Stop at the exact time with 2 other cars. One on the left and one across from me........You might think "who goes first" but not in this case.

We all just paused and looked at each other for a second, then smiled and drove on.

We were 3, Smoke Silver, Monotone W124 Coupe owners, all with the same wheels.

I almost felt like we should stop and chat, the other guys looked like they thought the same, but we smiled, noded and drove on.

What are the odds?

1 in a 1,000,000,000. Since you;re in Cali.. take off 3 zeros :D

This happened! how many of these cars were made?

I know I live in town that has big $$ cars but the chance of this?

How funny, same everything, I think the other drivers are telling this story as well, we just looked up and down at each other's cars and went on.

All the same............................and so it goes!

That happened once with me...but with the ML!

They are deemed to be nearly as commonplace as the W124...

I live in a small town of about 5000 folks. Within a week of the time I bought my white 124, three others started making appearances around town. I don't think these things unusual since it seems to happen with every car I get!! The odd thing was that within a month they were never to be seen again!!
