poor gas mileage, non-MB auto.

Hey guys I picked up a super running old 91' Lexus es250(luxo camry) V-6 for a song. This is the second time I have owned this car. Again it runs perfect and does not smoke or smell fumey.

My problem is it is STILL hard to start when the engine is cold. It does not matter if it is 80 or 10 degrees outside. If it sits overnite it is very hard to start.

I have now run my 3rd tank of gas and my average is coming out to about 13.5 mpg! This thing is as bad as my old V-8 Explorer!

Does anyone know what it could be????????

It has been like this since the first time I owned this car back in 98-99'. I sold it to a friend then and he has had it tuned up, timing belt replaced, etc. Thousands have been spent on it this last year.

I appreciate any advice.
:p
