All Tune and Lub
Out of curiosity if All Tune and Lub will work on MB brakes since they advertised brake jobs from $59.95in the ValuePak. The owner got on the phone and advised me to take my car back to the dealer and it costs approximately $1,200
He went on and told me he owns a 190E and a Caddy for his wife. He takes both his cars to the dealer to have brakes done because they do a thorough and safe job. What does that tells me? If the owner of a brake shop will not trust his own work, why should I trust his? Doen't that make you wonder about all those Quik Lub and whatever out there?

brakes on my car are so easy to do...
Why would I spend money at the dealer when I can order the parts, do it myself, and spend less than $200. Alon

My experience has been that dealers ect want to replace EVERYTHING when they do a brake job, whether it needs replacing or not. That's just becoming policy at a lot of places. So you end up getting new calipers, and probably rotors too, when all you really may need is pads. I think they've started doing this because somewhere along the line, someone came back and did the lawsuit thing because a shop missed something, and caused an accident. At least that's what I heard when my brother was a wrench turner at Goodyear 15 years ago.
Alon is right. Learn to DIY.
