ATF help
 

I posted this once in the Technical section and this is for my neighbor. He has a '95 VW Passat and wanted to add ATF. We looked all over the engine bay but cannot find it. Does anyone has knowledge how to add ATF for this car.

He called the dealer and they wanted him to bring the car to them.

To add to the insult, he logged onto VW chat room and no one there knows!!

would you not add atf through the tranny dipstick tube?
he must be able to find that?

did he ask on the www.vwvortex.com tech section?

my present vw is a 5spd but in a former jetta the auto tranny had a short dipstick on top of the trans/torque converter area
which you add fluid into.
