But Mike...

...you and I know that those who have already made up their minds that we shouldn't attack Saddam will not believe a single word written on that op-ed piece.

Why should the peaceniks believe the words of a Holocaust survivor? After all, doesn't "everybody know" that the American government is nothing but a tool of a super secret Jewish cabal???

Good link Mike. I am glad that at least on this one, the Spanish government is with us.

A Saddam, duro y por la cabeza!!!

As much as I don't like the prospect of war with Iraq, at least he supports his statements with widely-available and accurate information, not just hearsay.

Bush may have the same intentions, but unfortunately, his motives will always be considered nothing more than political grandstanding with a hidden agenda attached.

Isn't that the truth? I find it's the same not only on this forum, but also among the "talking heads" on the political discussion programs on TV and on the radio. Everyone is more concerned about earning "debating points" than having a true discussion and maybe learning something new.

I still believe that MY viewpoint is correct, and that the liberal "No war for oil" dunceheads need to think up a better slogan that is based on even a sliver of truth.

Hear, hear! If they are going to oppose something, at least they could oppose something that is actually happening! This has NEVER been about oil! Unless you're France, Germany, and Russia.

That depends on who you ask, doesn't it?

Exactly! They'll blow off someone with all the credibility and firsthand experience and know-how...Yet they'll take the OPINIONS of some publicity-hungry hack like Jesse Jackson or Barbera Streisand as gospel. Idiots.

All I have to say is the Russians can do whatever they damn want. They have every right to protest, and disagree, and veto They lost 9 million people in WWI, and around 30 million in WWII fighting the war on their own, sacrificing for what they got, and not having the US fight for them. If not for the Russians soaking up 75 percent of the German army, America would have been screwed! We had a hard enough time with the 25% of the Germans. On the other hand, the French are cheese eating surrender monkies who don't show a strip of gratitude for us saving their asses and rebuilding their country, and the Germans make good cars at least, but don't seem to remember "The Marshal Plan" or "The Berlin Wall" Memories seem to fade rather quickly. Every Frenchmen should visit the cemeteries in their own country filled with more of American and British dead than that of their own army. Those white crosses should be a reminder of our good will. They never remember.

Does that include buying tons of Iraqi oil, as France and Germany also do, and then having anti-war protests where they accuse US of being "all about the oil"?

It's true, they can do "whatever they damn want"...But I am also free to call them damn hypocrites.

If you read this article it tells who really can minimize loss of life.

http://www.washtimes.com/national/20030317-26230830.htm

I have 3 brothers in theatre right this second. One is battle hardened, he has been is every squirmish since 1989 including many we don't even know about over a beer he told me he had over 2000 day's in combat. The other is an Air Force pilot he too has seen action in the gulf and the war on drugs. Last but not least my youngest brother is in the Coast Guard he is in the Gulf boarding enemy vessels. I left the military due an injury incurred in the line of duty. To spare the chance of losing any of my brothers I WANT PEACE.

But as a soldier myself I know that it takes force to make peace. So let the cards fall and if you truly support our soldiers allow our government to make this a speedy action.

The Nobel prize has been watered down like the foundation that this country was founded on.
