Listen to internet radio?
Anyone listen to radio stations over the internet? The advantage I have with DSL at work is I can listen to my choice of music, and some of them have no or few commercials. This is the two I use the most now:
http://www.alldanzradio.com/ http://www.beethoven.com/ The alldanzradio has a very wide selection of music styles (not neccesarily dance music) I used to listen to Virgin records site, but they started making a big push for subscription service. Beethoven.com is great when I want good relaxing music to think by. I don't always like rock when I have to concentrate on something. Too annoying.;) |
If you're into different modern styles with a penchant for alternative, check out www.radiovw.com. Since Volkswagen is pushing for a cool, trendy image, they've started broadcasting four different channels, all of them decent. One for "emerging" artists, one for interviews with artists, and two with mixed programming. No ads, just a DJ telling you you're listening to Radio VW every 15 minutes or so. Good stuff.
