Pumpkin Preservation
I have a couple of pumpkins left from Halloween. I'd like to keep the pumpkins forever, is there anyway I can glaze them with shellac or something so they'll last basically forever?

A pumpkin is essentially a large squash...
...so if you don't breach the internals, it should last for many years. I still have some small pumpkins that I use each year for our Halloween displays at home...it's been five years! |
