Kimi wins!

Who would have thunk it... RB blows an engine, Kimi brakes too late and allows Fisichella to pass but wins anyway, Michael spins out because the runoff is pitched wrong, track marshalls don't know how to raise a yellow flag... what a way to win a race.

Poor Fisichella and Eddie Jordan, that's racing for you.

That was a very weird race to say the least, it hardly rained during the race yet there was a constant supply of water on the track in several corners.

I think the track owners need to get the ol' handbook of soil drainage out and pay particular attention to the areas that mention having soil on a higher plane next to a paved surface during rain will guarranty a constant water tunoff. In other words, Not Good for a F1 caliber race track, even the RainMeister Shuey stuffed it into the rails!

Kimi didn't seemed disappointed in the win though, he even broke several smiles during the post race interview, unusual?

And what is up with the BMW's? So much attention from the media last year, so little results so far.

Alonso's pits had to be telling him to slow down along with the Marshals yellow flags, lets see what comes of his decision to plow full speed into a tire on the track.

Has anyone noticed that MS is in EIGHTH spot in the championship!

And Kimi is leading!!!

But that is too bad for Fisico, even as a die-hard McLaren fan I really wanted to see him bring home the win...

Howdy All,
Was it Alonso that finished third and couldn't get to the podium?¿ Kinda funny seeing a bottle of champagne up there being a wall flower

Yes. Unusual race.

I wondered if the F1 rule didn't exist (about the race results being the order 2 laps prior to the red flag):

What *would* have been better, points-wise for the Team?

1. Kimi wins and Coultard 4th?
2. Fisichhella takes 1st and Kimi and David take 2nd/3rd?

The new points schedule goes 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. So the way it stands it's an extra point for the team instead of just 14 points if McLaren came in 2-3.

DC would have done better had he not pitted.

Yeah did you see how he pulled out of that one spin? All the way through he was still trying to drive the thing! He wasn't so lucky the second time though!

BTW, does anyone think that the safety technology in these F1 cars is just awesome?

Brazil just shows FIA that they need traction control!! I find it upsetting that FIA wants to discontinue traction control and automatic transmissions.

No, Kimi did not win. The FIA revised the result and Fisichella is the actual winner. That's OK. It will be the last time Honda wins. If the race had gone on another lap, the Honda would have self destructed by either caught on fire or blew up anyway. It was on fire as soon as Fisichella pulled into the pit lane.
