Thule roof rack on 190-E? Mine doesn't seem to fit.
Hello all,
I tried to put my Thule bike rack onto my 190-E a couple weeks ago. When I used it last, it was on my '93 Maxima, so it's made for cars without traditional rain gutters like W123s. When I placed it onto the roof, the feet couldn't angle enough to fit onto the steep corners of the roof. Anyone else use a Thule rack on their 190? How did you get it to attatch? Thanks for any help!! |
Stephano I had a Thule rack one time that I used on a Mazda MPV. I think you can purchase adapters for the rack for the particular car. I would suggest either contacting Thule or one of their vendors to get the proper attachment for your particular application.

Thanks, Jim.
I figured I'd drop by one of the larger bicycle stores to see if there are adaptors. I was hoping for a less expensive fix, those things aren't cheap! :) |
