Visiting Dallas. Meet for Dinner on June 7..

Hey all,

I'm visiting Dallas on business for a trade show from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8.

I have a free evening after 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 7.

Anybody in the Dallas area want to meet for dinner?

I am staying at the Sheraton Hotel at 2101 Stemmons Freeway, which is across the street from the Windham Anatole Resort.

I can't promise anything yet, but I will try to make it. I already was thinking about making it, so I'll start working on it.

Have a great day,

If I'm not playing at church that day, I would love to join you...I'm about 45 minutes from that area from home, so it's not much of an issue.

I'm in Irving during the week which is about 10-15 minutes from Dallas.

Good good good. Hope to see you there.

I'll be driving by the Dallas Cowboys stadium in Irving driving from the DFW airport to the hotel.

You can't see the FedEx building I work at from the highway, but we are close to the airport...when you pass the Esters exit, you will have passed by me!

Hey Larry,

If you can get in touch with Robert Talley (TCCBass), he might want to join us as well.

I definitely want to join the dinner party! I will be "Benzless" as I am giving my mother the 300E and taking her Volvo 740 Turbo wagon (until I can find a 300TE).

You can count me in. I do work Saturdays, but get off by four.

Suginami, would you be needing a ride from the airport to your hotel, or do you already have transportation arranged. I didn't immediately notice the "party" day was on Saturday.

Are we going to need to meet somewhere that has a brightly-lit parking lot? It looks like it will be dark (or near so) by the time we all meet up, yet I'm sure we would all like to salivate over one another's MBs...except for TCCBass, who drives, hmmmph, a Volvo.:p

Why don't we meet at the Sheraton Hotel that I'm staying at around 6:00 p.m.

I have to attend a trade show from noon to 5 p.m.

The Sheraton Hotel is at 2101 Stemmons Freeway, right across the street from the Wyndham Anatole Resort.

Diesel Power, thanks for the offer, but I will have a rental car.

Dallas has some fine eating establishments. Unless I'm mistaken, you're not far from The Hole in the Wall, a burger and blues joint on Harry Hines.

However, if you want something more upscale (which is understandable), I'm certain there are plenty of options, the hotel included.

Last year when Paul was here, I took him to the West End. I think that this time, however, it would be better to go somewhere with a LARGE parking lot where we can get in the corner under the lights by ourselves. There are plenty of restaurants like this near Walnut Hill and just South of there.

I hope to make it,
