Pontiac Bonneville going... one at a time....

My brakes are down, so as I am looking for a caliper for my '72 220D/8 on front right brake i borrow a car.
Pontiac Bonneville, 1986 +/- began showing problems when the keyless entry no longer locked, unlocked, or opened the trunk. Next, I notice the driver's "masterlock" door locks do not lock any doors nor do they unlock. I don't hear any noise indicating it's trying to work. Nothing.
At night, the taillights are completely dark, brake lights work, as do both rear turn signals also still work. Here I see the dash lights are not on and I cannot coax them on by turning both knobs every possible way.
There may be more and it's just not been discovered. Does anyone have any ideas what is doing this. We replaced the remote's batteries, maintaining proper polarity.
I ask for advice.

Sounds like the interior locking fuse blew. On my GM car, the
power locks share the same fuse as the interior lights and running lamps. Check all your fuses first.
Good luck.

should I ask?

I probably should not ask, "but, what do you mean by that?", I'll cheerfully inquire.

I would bet money on the fuse....the horn probably doesn't work as well....check the "ctsy" fuse.

"ctsy" is short for "courtesy"...therefore the circuit the fuse is on is for the courtesy features in the car.

Check the owners manual if it's there to find the location of the fuse box. On most GM cars, it's somewhere under the dash by the driver's side, or possibly near or in the glovebox...
