No kidding! They use the bright red guts from little beatles in south america to produce "natural" red food coloring.

There was a time when all food dyes were migrating to synthetic materials. Then the FDA banned several dyes due to their health affects. Remember the red dye #7 scare? Anyway, since the early '80's, it seems like alot of natural dyes have come back onto the market to replace the synthetic ones.
