Any sideline business ventures in the works?
I have more than a few friends who shared stories of their current grassroots efforts to enhance their income in sideline ventures.
I suppose the lackluster economy coupled with the uncertain employment climate spawned a new wave of enterpreneurs. Me, I have a heavy initial investment in music studio equipment and am actively trying to turn it into a profitable music production business (once I pay for all of this gear ). Got a couple of small clients, but that's all I can handle so far, so it's all good. What are you guys (and gals) doing?

I ran the gamit of sideline buisnesses in years past. I decided I'm not the entrepeneur-type. I just want to come in the morning, hit the time clock, go thru the day, and hit the timeclock again. I don't have the stomach for all the worries of self-employment.
But my hats' off to anyone that makes a go of it, and all my best luck to ya!

Rental properties
A friend of mine and I have a few rentall properties that we recently bought. he has the real estate/mortgage experience and I am the handyman. A god working combo. We are not slum lords or Donald Trumps by any means. We just are buying a few places, that we fix up and rent.
Things are slow, but it is a learning experience for everyone. |
