Any Depeche Mode fans?
Been listening to a lot of Depeche Mode: not so much their pop stuff, the darker stuff,
Personal Jesus, Barrel of a Gun, Dream On. Any real fans here? Can you guys recommend any darker songs?

Ahhh, Depressed Mode!
 I listened to alot of them in the 80's. Don't remember too many of the song titles anymore. I'd have to dig out the albums. But their early stuff definatly was "dark". I liked early The Cure too.

Hmm
Ya. I have Black Day. Any other stuff similar to Barrel of a Gun, Personal Jesus, Dream On. Stuff without so many pronounced electronic beats, stuff thats almost a trance like industrial sound? Their lyrics are amazing in all cases.
Einsturzende Neubauten: Kings of Lyrics, 90 percent dark, industrial, lots of references to love. They are my favorite band as of now. Neubauten. Their lyrics are amazing, even when translated from German are the most amazing I've heard. Depeche Mode is a close second for me.
