Went to MB dealer....question about the car paint
Was looking at the cars at the MB dealer which were brand new and as a ran my hand over the paint on the cars none of them were smooth as silk like new paint I thought would be.
Is this the way its supposed to be? And some cars already had swirl marks such as the dark blue and black ones.

...the dealership you frequent should change their detailer or actually work out some program for cleaning the cars in their showroom/lot...many of these cars get pretty dirty from transportation...but I doubt anything would be serious enough that a decent detailer couldn't take out with some clay and wax...judging from the attitude of M-B dealerships nowadays, maybe they think the three-pointed star will sell itself, and presentation is not important anymore...just my guess...I hope at least before delivery to the customer, they at least clean the car up to par...

well the cars were very clean actually it was just the new paint wasnt smooth feeling but it did bead after a shower passed through a hour previously.
Maybe thats how new paint from factory is supposed to feel? I dont think your supposed to wax it right away anyways.
