Going thru Greensboro on Friday and looking for a locals rec for some good carolina bbq

find the worst looking place with the crowded parking lot.

Actually, funny you mention it...
My family and I are heading to North Carolina on Friday too and we always stop in Kinston (about 4 hours east of Greensboro) at a place called Wilbur's and they have the BEST bbq EVER. I don't know if you'll be around there but if you are definately stop in for a pork sandwich.

And I guess if you see a black tinted 420sel cruising through Greensboro be sure to give me a wave!

ok...the place is called J&G barbeque, it is wonderful, as a life long North Carolinan this is truely the best! It is in a little town called Haw River, when your on I85 take the Haw River exit, turn left across the highway, go about 3 miles on the same road you exit onto, then when you go over an old bridgeand come to a stop light kinda in town with a gas station on the right, turn right, you will continue on this road, it will become four lanes, go about 3 to 4 miles, on your right you will see a new shopping center, on your left you will see a blue gray building (J&G's) It really is great, oh and excuse my very "countryfied" directions... hope you injoy there "pulled" pork as they call it.

Just to clarify these directions...if your coming form Raleigh on I85, when you exit the interstate you need to turn right, and if from Greensboro turn left haha
