How to find owner....
 

I got the plate # and "Great Lakes Truck Eqp." name that was on a mud flap of a truck that did a little damage to my car again.:rolleyes: :mad: I went to my insurance company.. and they said they can't do anything.. that I have to contact the truck company. How do I find the company that owns the truck????

The mud flap info is probably just the company that supplied the mudflaps....usually no relation to the owner of the truck.

What state did this happen in?

I need a description of the truck (18-wheeler, dump truck, panel van, etc.), color of the vehicle and the plate number. This is an Ohio tag, right?

Do you know any information about a possible business listed on the driver's/passenger's door(s)?

Location of the incident. (county and nearest city)

Date of indicent and the time of day.

Were the authorities notified? If not, you may need to at least get a report done for the record. This may be your FIRST course of action.

What exactly happened to your car (describe the damage)
