Angry Overly loud motorcycles! WTF!!!!!

Let me start by saying I do have an M1 license and have spent many miles ridding on two wheels...BUT there are these people who have SUPER LOUD bikes. I DO like the sound of a free flowing exhaust but this is REDICULOUS! How can this possibly be legal?

I wish I could take these guys and put their heads up to the exhaust pipes of their bikes and rev it up!

Are people THAT desperate for attention? If so please GET HELP and stop disturbing the rest of us!

I live just outside a town that's pretty popular with the bikers. Yeah! LOUD!!
I like a decent exhaust sound on a bike, but when it rattles your teeth when they blow by you, I don't think so!!

Talking Uncorked

As I work for a public agency I won't uncap the headers on my '69 Cuda and run it downtown just yet. But the day I retire it will be fun to check out who is louder, me or the HDs.

Between the ricers, the p/u's and the bikes, I can't point my finger at any one group...they all contribute to the noise pollution (as do the thumping subs)!

My straight-through headers on the Bug can contribute nicely to the mix as well!

Hey, the loud exhaust may be bothersome, but in a way, they are a safety feature. Other people will notice the bikes. Having spent some time in the saddle, I know first hand that people do not see motorcycles. I have a scar on my arm to prove it. Loud bikes will be heard and therefore looked for by even the deafest of Mercedes drivers. If the loudness is that bothersome to you, well, I don't want to get mean here.
