The most substandard car in your household

I know we usually post pictures of our mercs and such, but how about posting some pics of your other cars.

Here's some pics of my mothers dodgy "Bits-are-missin" 1993 Magna.
With it's high powered 4cyl Carburated engine, coupled with the luxrury of FWD, it makes this car the most anoying to drive. I should know, as i've been driving it while my merc is at the shop

I don't have a picture of the most substandard car in the driveway (my mom's Honda )...and, while I don't consider it substandard (thank you very much ), here is a picture of the Nimitz...

The lumber rack is currently removed; I'm sanding it down to get the rust off, then painting it black...I think that, once that's done, the truck will look far better tan it does in this pic.

The Toyota Truck ... circa 1980.

Featuring one of the worlds best motors (really!), the 22R. This 4 banger is one of the best 8V OHC motors produced in its era. Has 250,000 on the clock with no oil changes in 10 years. Simply add a quart every gas stop and you are good to go!

(Yeah, I flamed it last year for kicks ... now featuring 14" chrome caps, a 5" exhaust tip, and killller $100 bill air freshners dangling from the rear view mirror.)

Substandard is state of mind. I would think the substandard car is the one that requires you to join a forum to keep you satisfied with it

Sixto
95 S420 ... substandard city mileage
91 300SE ... substandard acceleration
87 300SDL ... this one's pretty good
83 300SD ... substandard AC, acutally none

Would be my VW.

In terms of restoration $$$ and labor, I have far more money in it than the others combined, yet, it sits outside and erodes away.

Engine still looks good, but components are beginning to oxidize...gotta find time to nurse this beast back to life!

Well

My parents would say the 240D is the substandard car...but I say the 2000 Honda Accord V6 with 200HP and all the options is the substandard car. The 240D is the king, and its amusing when my dad's business friends come over, they immediately look at the 240D. That eats him up :p
