Question Can't log-on under my original name

The forum won't recognize my original account. What gives?

Thanks!

Thanks, but I haven't done anything at all. I posted this morning without any problems.

Stefano
Just go to the bottom of any Mercedesshop page and click on "contact webmaster", that's Bill Wood, he should be able to straighten things out.

Yeah, I'm still trying to sort it out. I emailed the moderator, but it was from work and I'm not sure the email actually went through. I sent another one last night. We'll see.........

This is the response i got from Bill regarding Stefanos account:

He had an invalid e-mail address in his profile so I deleted his account.
Whenever members forget to keep their e-mail addresses current it causes me to get a bunch of bounced e-mails.

He can re-register with a valid e-mail account.

So make sure your email address is correct on your MercedesShop account.
You can also use the "edit options" button and turn off email notification. This is what the option looks like:

Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in. yes no

When this is turned on, and your email that is being used is bad, Bill (MercedesShop) gets the emails bounced back. It's easy to see why he takes wrong email addresses seriously.

Wouldn't want that to happen to me! Just for the record, I don't have any problem with my account getting deleted. It was obviously some glitch with hotmail since I hadn't changed a thing.

But for Bill to have to get all those emails.... sheesh! About all he can do is delete the accounts.
