And again, Israel gets away with it
The building of the Fence will continue as scheduled, on Palestinian territory of course. President Bush is clearly very annoyed with this issue, but apparently cannot stop Sharon.
Why is it that Israel can always get away with it? Cann't figure it out. I mean, the oil is secure now.

It's a given that Israel, especially that blood sucking Sharon, gets away with many things. Everyone knows that. Besides... they are the "chosen" people, so its only logical to let them get away with "minor safety" precautions like these.
Lebenz... do you think the drop in terrorism has anything to do with the temporary truce that was signed, or was it all because of Saddam? |

What do you mean by "get away with it?" Israel is a sovereign nation and has the right to defend its lands like anyone else! Holy cow, what do you think, despite all of the United States' support for Israel, Israel not subservient to the whims of the US! I view this as a better alternative than sending in cruise missiles to assasinate suspected Hamas leaders don't you think? Forget the fence, replace it with tanks. Yeah, that's it.

mmm..., the President you so worship considers the Fence, in his own words: 'a problem' aswell'. According to your logic, that makes him a supporter of terrorism, hater of Israelis and/or Jews in general aswell. Very comprehensible indeed.... More to the point: Why aren't they building the Fence on their own territory then? The Commies had at least that courtesy.

Kuan I coudn't have said it better myself. IMO Israel has the right to go and do whatever neccesary to put an end to terrorists killing innocent people in thier state. Remember until the recent truce innocent Israelis were being killed almost every day by some brainwashed 16 year old bodybomber. I could only immagine what the US would do if it were happening here. I too would continue to build the fence as trust is a majorissue with the Palestinians.

Good fences make good neighbors. Israel is not getting away with anything that a responsible nation would not employ to protect its people. People against the fence ONLY WISH TO SEE MORE SUICIDE BOMBERS KILL INNOCENT CIVILIANS. How come fence-bashers aren't against the Mexico-US fence, there are no terrorists coming from Mexico?

While I enjoy a good debate as much as the next guy, I find this sort of debate with singular focus positions to be a bit outside the purposes of this site.

I think the fence is long overdue. The Palestinians want all Jews dead whether they are in Israel or on the moon. The Israelis should have taken Arafat out when they had the chance.
