What's your favorite website?

What's your favorite website?

Aside from Mercedes Shop of course.

My leisure sites are www.fark.com and www.drudgereport.com

For business I use Yahoo Finance.

I spent the weekend at a resort that claimed to have High Speed internet. All I got for $9.95 a day was crappy webtv and could not hook up my laptop which greatly hindered buying Bruce Springsteen tickets online which went on sale Saturday morning.

Conclusion, I have become an internet addict.

other than this one...
www.musiciansfriend.com

There are other music gear-related sites as well, and I just picked up a new bass for myself this week...different color than the one on the pic though...

Thread necromancy!

I was thinking about posting a thread asking what your favorite non-Benz-related sites were, when it occurred to me to do a forum search. Sure enough, someone had the bright idea sooner than I did.

Nice ones:
http://www.blogdex.net/ -- if you like blogs, this site tracks the most frequently-encountered/contagious stories being propagated throughout blogs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Current_events -- I'm starting to enjoy this site as a relatively unbiased source of information about current events.

everything2.com is fun for aimless link-hopping of fairly unmoderated content. I linked to a particular story you might like to start with.

And MedMech, somethingawful.com is more my style than your fark.com

Anyone else?

www.peachparts.com

www.thedieselstop.com - Ford diesel site; basically similar to this site, for my truck

www.ebaumsworld.com - good site for random Flash games; I actually just finished a round of Pacman

www.userfriendly.org - good computer-geek comic strip

www.imdb.com - the Internet Movie Database - good resource for movie info, random trivia, etc...you can wind up on there for hours just randomly surfing around.

I'd add my webpage to the list except that it's so out-of-date that I'm embarassed. Hopefully when school lets out... *sigh*

An excellent site for early warning on when abortion is about to become illegal and when your child will begin learning about the creation of women from the ribs of men.

it's not very exciting, but my favourite is the BBC news website- www.bbc.co.uk/news -is my most visited site. My preferred place for finding out what's going on outside America (which apart from some CNN is nigh on impossible if you watch tv news!)

Maddox used to update more often, but there is lots of hilarous stuff for newcomers to get through...
