URGENT Cutback 10% of your Elec usage

Howdy,

If most of us on the eastern grid specially, cut back 10%plus on our usage of elec for the next 24 hrs it would greatly help stabilize the grid.

It will help our nation get back on its feet a little bit faster.

We have power while the rest of our city is SOL, which is a departure from normal because we lose power every time the wind blows. Currently I have a 15 amp generator to power the essentials but next week I was going to ugrade to a 100amp but now prices will be high in the sky due to demand.

I think it's the conspiracy between Canada and France to hit the US. Alternatively it's the action by the US to punish Canada for supporting France.
Let me think about it. Am I glad Delaware is not part of that grid!!

I watched the tube last night concerning the power outage, and they showed the nation wide grid networks...interesting that Texas had its own...

...now I'm certain that Texas thinks it's a nation!

More Power Plants

We need more power plants and less people trying to blame our President for the blackouts.

Using less is cheap (free) and instantaneos. What's wrong with that? No need to craft legistlation or dole out contracts.

I've just shut off a couple of lights I didn't really need.

Interesting as well is that some of the BIGGEST players in the California electricity "crisis" were based in Texas. Maybe if we get a Republican governer (Terminator) GW will start treating us better! (Could have had FIRC step in earlier in the game instead of being on the sidelines as the train wreck continued).

well, now they are saying there was plenty of power to spare. Just some weird feedback going along the lines up the one way street. I STILL think there is something funny about this blackout.

BTW- Iraqis are giving us advice how to cope. My favorite is- get to the streets and protest. when we do it power comes back on verrrry quickly
