Inside of an MB V-12 Engine
Howdy,
Came across this ebay auction that gives a good look at the inside of a MB V-12 engine. It looks kind of like the MB engine is a 60 degree bank angle instead of a 90. Maybe somebody here knows for sure? Sholin

VERY interesting photos on that auction. This does draw up one question though. Is it considered an automobile obsession when one stares at dismantled engines?

No pics anymore. 60 degrees is correct for a V-12.

Sholin, not as much as studing photos of the underside of different MB models,I always liked cars but never thought I'd get such a heavy case of Benz fever........

My personal thought is that the underside/inside of an automobile is the most interesting part. I guess that one reason is that my profession is engineering so I work with technology all the time. But even when I was young, I loved to look at auto repair books to see how they were built.
Honestly, I thought that this crowd would be more receptive to this. MB has always been known for their engineering not so much their styling so I figured that people who drive them would be more interested in what's inside. Sholin. Attached is a block pic for example.
